Volunteer Appreciation

Hello and Happy Spring!

Welcome to National Volunteer recognition month.

Every one of our volunteers gives of their heart, their time, and their talents to Hospice of the Foothills.

No words can express the deep gratitude I feel for the love you all share with our beloved Hospice of the Foothills.

We make a huge promise every day to our community – “To provide comprehensive, compassionate end-of-life care to our patients, families, and the community.” We are able to make good on that promise because of each one of you.

Our Volunteer Board of Directors takes on the fiduciary and strategic responsibility of steering this honorable mission.

Our Board of Trustees serves as our ambassadors in the community, taking the time to educate themselves about our care and helping to spread the word about who we are and what we do.

Our Gift and Thrift volunteers help ensure that our retail business stays not only profitable but a beautiful reflection of the care for the community that has become synonymous with Hospice of the Foothills.

Our respite and friendly visitor volunteers are in the home with our patients and families supporting and caring for them.

Our Friends of Hospice fundraisers, keep so many of our time-honored traditions going strong.

Our Dying Vigil team provides a quiet skilled presence as our patients move from this world to the next.

And our Bereavement team, supporting and caring for our families as they travel through their grief.

I know you make a choice about where to spend your volunteer time and talents. Thank you to those who have chosen us.

With love,

Viv
